This week I was sent this remarkable contribution by the Swan River Pioneers 1829-1838 Inc. President, Graeme Ferguson. Graeme said, “it offers a straightforward look at how the Noongar people lived with the Swan Coastal Plain long before the Swan River Colony was established. It is an easy read and presents a different perspective on the land we all know so well. It is not written like a history textbook, more like a friendly walk-through of how people understood the seasons, the bush, and the rhythms of Country”.
